The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has confirmed the arrest of four suspects linked to a string of unlawful entry and theft cases in and around Masvingo.
Peace Mandizvidza (32), Edward Sibanda (27), Tapiwa Tagwirei (27), and Kumbulani Sibanda (25) are alleged to have carried out at least 10 break-ins between December 2025 and April 2026.
According to police, the suspects targeted residential properties, breaking in while homeowners were away. Stolen items included household goods such as television sets, refrigerators, blankets, and other valuables, with the total value of stolen property estimated at US$14,330.
Authorities have since recovered goods worth approximately US$10,305, including two television sets, a deep freezer, and blankets.
Investigations are ongoing, and the suspects are expected to appear in court soon.
